Vidcode

Vidcode is a coding platform for 4th grade and up. They provide free curriculum, highly visual coding platform and teacher support. Their creative coding platform introduces tweens and teens to the fundamentals of computer science and JavaScript programming. Girls learn to code by creating personalized memes, game avatars, video filters, and apps.The curricular approach enables students to create video filters, simulations, augmented reality, and other creative projects -- all while learning the fundamentals of computer science & web programming. Vidcode’s mission is to teach 10 million girls to code by 2020 and has partnered with Girl Scouts USA to develop course content and offer discount courses to Girl Scout troops.
